A few weeks ago, I found out that I won a contest where I get to go jam with some of my favorite rock stars. In one week, I'll be heading to West Hollywood to join the original band members of Alice In Chains and Stone Temple Pilots at Rock n' Roll Fantasy Camp.
When I was a teenager, AIC and STP were two of my favorite bands. Like most teens, I was pretty rebellious and angry at the world. The haunting melodies and dark lyrics of Alice in Chains resonated with me like no other band did, and I listened to their albums on repeat.
Now I'll have the chance to rock out with Jerry Cantrell and Mike Inez, two of the original members of Alice in Chains, and the DeLeo brothers of Stone Temple Pilots.
